Meet Lisa Tonsager

Business Development

Lisa started at DMI in 2004 but had her tenure interrupted by a 5-year hiatus to Shanghai, China. Lisa returned to our Chicago office in 2009. While in China, she gained valuable insight into the Asian hospitality industry, traveling extensively in 11 additional Asian countries. Prior to DMI, starting in 1987, Lisa worked in various national sales offices in the Washington DC, New York and Chicago markets, as well as serving as Director of Sales at Doral Golf Resort & Spa in Miami.

Lisa previously served on the Board of Directors of MPI Chicago and has been involved with ASAE and MPI for her entire career. Lisa is a graduate of Ohio University, with degrees in both French and Spanish.

As DMI's Business Development Manager, Lisa's primary focus is locating untapped markets and forging relationships with new clients for DMI and its partners.
