Meet Betsy Troup

Regional Director of Sales

Betsy Troup began her career in the hospitality industry in 1996, working for Marriott International for 15 years until joining DMI. Betsy brings vast experience and various market knowledge from her experiences working at Marriott's Lincolnshire Resort, the New York Marriott Financial Center and World Trade Center hotels, the Renaissance Worthington Hotel, the Marriott Dallas/Plano at Legacy Town Center, and the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel & Spa

For almost five years, Betsy was a Director of Business Development for the Renaissance Hotel portfolio and was responsible for building and maintaining long-term, value-based business-to-business relationships between Renaissance Hotels and a portfolio of accounts within a mix of corporate, intermediary, and association markets. This territory-based, proactive sales position focused on securing group business for Renaissance Hotels & Resorts and developing and implementing key strategies which lead to profitable revenue maximization within each account. Betsy's passion and commitment to connecting and fostering customer and hotel relationships directly translates into her role with DMI hotels.
